Chaplain is a sweet, shy gentleman who was rescued from a high kill shelter right before his time was up. When Chaplain arrived at the Refuge, he was very traumatized by his recent experiences and overwhelmed by all the other kitties, but he is slowly coming out of his shell. He loves to be petted, but still prefers to be approached slowly - except when you are bringing treats! He'll offer you his handsome face for some extra petting and once he really trusts you he gets up and dances around to get loved some more!
